Go to the shopFinding the perfect watch size ensures comfort, balance, and a look that complements your personal style. This guide will walk you through how to measure your wrist, understand watch dimensions, and choose a case size and fit that suits you best.
To determine the ideal watch size, begin by measuring your wrist circumference.
Use a soft measuring tape (or a strip of paper + ruler).
Wrap it comfortably around the widest part of your wrist—typically just above the wrist bone.
Do not pull too tightly; aim for a natural, snug fit.
Record the measurement in inches or millimeters.
(Shown above — Diagram 1)
6.0 – 6.75 inches (150–170 mm) → Small wrist
6.75 – 7.25 inches (170–185 mm) → Medium wrist
7.25 – 8.0 inches (185–203 mm) → Large wrist
8.0+ inches (203+ mm) → Extra large wrist

Watch case size is measured across the diameter of the watch face excluding the crown.
34–38 mm → Best for small wrists
39–41 mm → Most universal & balanced
42–44 mm → Ideal for larger wrists
45 mm+ → Oversized, bold statement pieces
(Shown above — Diagram 2)
This visual comparison helps you understand how different case diameters appear side-by-side.

The lug-to-lug measurement determines how well a watch sits on your wrist (front-to-back length). A watch may have an ideal case size but still feel too large if the lug-to-lug is long.
Your lug-to-lug measurement should be equal to or shorter than the width of your wrist.
Small wrists: < 47 mm
Medium wrists: 47–50 mm
Large wrists: 50–54 mm
(Shown above — Diagram 3)
This is the most important measurement for comfort. A watch that exceeds your wrist width will overhang and feel awkward.
Case thickness affects both comfort and style:
Under 10 mm → Dress watches (slim, fits under sleeves)
10–13 mm → Everyday wear
13–16 mm → Sport watches
16 mm+ → Large chronographs, high complications
Slimmer watches feel more refined, thicker watches feel more technical.
A well-fitted metal bracelet should:
Allow one finger to slide under the clasp
Not slide more than 1 inch on the wrist
Not rotate excessively
Leather and rubber straps should fit:
Snug but flexible
Without pinching or wrist pressure
With 1–3 visible holes on the tail side

Case: 34–38 mm
Lug-to-lug: 42–47 mm
Thickness: 7–12 mm
Case: 38–41 mm
Lug-to-lug: 47–50 mm
Thickness: 8–14 mm
Case: 42–46 mm
Lug-to-lug: 50–54 mm
Thickness: 10–16 mm
Smaller watches → Elegant, classic, unobtrusive
Medium watches → Balanced, universal
Larger watches → Bold, sporty, heavier presence
Balance is key—your watch should enhance your wrist, not overwhelm it.
